Description For the determination of proteins, a lot of methods can be used. It is suitable to follow some criteria: (a) amount of proteins being available for analysis, (b)concentartion of proteins in samples, (c)specificity of method, and (d) facility and confidence of chosen method. In addition to spectrophotometric and electrophoretic methods, electrochemistral methods (differential pulse voltammetry and chronopotentometric stripping analysis) have been applied to the determination of bovine serum albumin - BSA, Mr 67 kDa)and tumor supressor p 53 (Mr 43 kDa). The results using these methods have been compared.
