Description The aim of this paper is to compare Individual Action Plan used in employment policy field with task-centred approach used in social work field in lines of their design and philosophy. We have successfully tested our assertion that these two working methods are mutually very similar (if not identical). In the end we summarize our results and offer following two recommendations to adoption: (1) inform street-level bureaucrats in public employment services (PES) with the philosophy of task-centred approach and (2) ruminate on implementation of quality standards, a tool supervising service quality provided by street-level bureaucrats in PES.
