| Description | The text contains the basic introduction of functional equations and the methods of their solving. After a short foreword there is given a set of examples of functional equations of two variables and there is described Cauchy s method of their solution. Then there follows a theory necessary for solving of functional equations of a single variable including some illustrative examples. In the conclusion of the article there is shown an example of a theoretical problem solved by the mentioned theory. |
