| Description | Reduced factorial design invented by Plackett and Burman already in 1946, which reduces a number of experiments necessitated for determination of important variables in regression, is compared with corresponding full factorial design. Calculation procedure is explained in detail using published data and some errors in literature are pointed out. Problems with confounding and how to avoid them are presented. |
