Description The contribution presents a part of the results of the empirical research into the role of corporate culture in relation to strategic management of Czech companies, included in the institutional research project MSM 265100018 "Research of strategic management in Czech companies", which was carried out at the Brno University of Technology, Faculty of Business and Management. The typical features of perceiving of internal and external environment present in Czech manufacturing companies are presented.
