| Description | The key dilemma of multiple-language vrsions (MLVs) was the question how to profit from the economic advantages of the identical subject and the production means, but, at the same time, how to find the best way of approaching the diversity of cultural contexts of the different national audiences, or how to renew in all the versions the value of unity of body, voice and space. In MLVs the tendency to preserve an organic unity of the character, and the viewer s immersion in diegesis is confronted with the requirement to generate several textual variants within one space of production and from a single script. |
