Description This paper outlines one of the working conclusions of research concerning the sense of the child in families with three children. Part of the research follows the childs place with respect to parents identity. From the childs position, three ideal types of family arise: "family firm", "couple and children", and "two-peer generations family". This paper addresses the last type. The family with two generations of peers is created by parents, whose relationship brings certain caracteristics to the relationship among peers, and their children, from which the parents have essentially created a new peer group. Family members maintain frequent contacts with persons outside the family, primarily with their peers.
