| Description | Permo-Carboniferous deposits of the Boskovice Graben are systematically investigated since the middle of the 19th century; however, the oldest mentions of sedimentary occupation of this geologically and palaeontologically important area reach back to the twenties of the 19th century. Although the history of palaeontological and stratigraphic-palaeontological investigations has already been resumed several times, no resumes of investigations expressed the Permo-Carboniferous deposits of the Boskovice Graben in its full scope. Moreover, the last detailed overviews published J. Augusta almost fifty years ago. This contribution gives hitherto the most detailed and overall overview of palaeontological and stratigraphic-palaeontological investigations in this area. |
