| Description | Pathological development of vertebral axis makes difficulties with determination and incorrect distinguishing of pathological development may result in incorrect determination. It is necessary to distinguish a normal variability of vertebrae from morphological deviations which are really the cause of pathological development of the bone. It is possible to distinguish congenital pathologies, established during the early phase of embryogenesis, from the gerontical pathologies. The second group of pathologies is formed by fused vertebrae as a result of possible periosteal infection of the bone. |
