Description Narrative therapy is shortly characterised and reasons explaining its existence are mentioned. Psychodynamic, cognitive-constructivist, and social constructionistic versions of narrative therapy are introduced. Theoretical sources, approaches to the life-story and some representations of these three versions are discussed. It is argued that the individual life-story brings closer different therapeutic approaches. It is concluded that each psychotherapy is a process of the three overlapping phases: 1. life-story telling, 2. life-story reading, 3. life-story re-telling.
