Description Th authors have used in revision hip surgery with defects Paprosky 3A a 3B Burch- Schneider ring in 52 patients in the years 1980-2000. The mean age was 66 years. The mean follow- up was 10,2 years. They found 10 complications - 5 aseptic and 5 septic loosening of the ring, which was removed later on. They emphasize to create a stable composit: pelvic bone. bone grafts- BS ring- bone cement- polyethylene cup. They use small trabecural bone grafts 10x10 mm in size and a method of compression grafting.
