Description The contribution is based on frequency concept analysis of Czech secondary school human geography textbooks, in that author compared textbooks from eight different publishing houses, allowed for lessons at Czech secondary schools in years 2005/2006. Author acquiet with results of over mentioned concept analysis and tried to find what concepts might in geography lessons to be called unadequate to the pupil's age. The findigs are proved on educational research which proceeded during one year on the sample of 52 pupil's. The result is a fact that every human geographical concept in researched textbooks is adequate to the pupil's age. The concept understanding problems depend only on the didactical transformation level, which in some cases doesn't comply with pupil's cognitive development.
