| Description | Parasite fauna of Neogobius kessleri was studied in populations from five localities in the longitudinal profile of the River Danube: two native populations, one long-standing introduced population and two recently introduced populations. A total of 21 parasite species was determined, the species richness and mean parasite abundance did not significantly differ among populations. |
