| Description | The submitted project was focused on aspects of perception of work strain and its relation to life satisfaction of professional firefighters. The research project has two parts: a) semi-structured interviews with firefighters were conducted for the aim of identification of work strain areas in occupation of professional firefighter, b) 136 professional firefighters filled in the Questionnaire of subjective evaluation of professional firefighter work strain and a Life satisfaction questionnaire. According to the gained results the life satisfaction of professional firefighters declines with the perceived increase of work-load. Professional firefighters are less satisfied with their work and occupation in the course of increasing work strain. Perception of work strain of professional firefighters increase with the growing duration of service. |
