| Description | Every emotion prepares an organism for coping certain situation. What about in the case of depression - are emotions ill? Or depression also has a certain function for the organism? When depression becomes illness, when it transforms from functional state to psychiatric diagnosis - and how it happens? This type of questions arrise in front of a therapist, who stops keeping himself safe by simply diagnosing the pathology of a patient. Answers to these questions then influence the therapist style of work. He is aware he co-creates the diagnosis of depression togeather with the patient. Togeather they can transform it or make the power of illness even stronger. |
