Description Wound healing is a biological process, that recruits of meny cell types. The process is continous, it is refferd to as occuring in phasis. Coagulation, which begins after injury, inflamation, a proliferative process and remodeling process. Wound healing is affected by several factors local and systemic. The local factors are: size of woundl, deep, ischemia, oxygen tension, venous insufficiency and other. To the systemic factors belong: age, nutritional state, preexisting illness, smoking, pain, many medicaments, stress and other.
