| Description | Common transport policy of the EU (CTP) set up several targets for railway transport, which are supposed to bring competitive advantage to railways and in the same time to the whole European economy. We analyze these targets using economic criteria (namely economies of transport density) and explain possibilities and limits of the CTP. |
