Description Clustering works with limited information, so we cannot expect generally perfect results. Experiments demonstrate that after carefully conducted investigations a user can obtain good and helpful results that are valuable as a part of the raw data preprocessing. When there are large data volumes provided by a long and continuous monitoring of our environment, automatic methods for the preprocessing are inevitable. Environmental problems often resist to traditional mathematical modeling, so the data mining methods can help if the users have samples enough. Combining clustering and classification is a very feasible solution to many different environmental problems.
