| Description | Several worms from the fresh feces of two adults female orangutan were collected in 2002 during the study at Gunung Leuser National Park (Northern Sumatra, Indonesia), and immediatelly fixed in 40%alcohol. Light scanning electron microscopical examination and molecular analyses of pinworm samples collected from this great apes revealed of the new species and genus from pinworms (Oxyuridae:Enterobiinae) |
