| Description | This article is a reading of the novels by Jean Echenoz which tries to highlight some aspects of the themes like reading, books and libraries. It is impossible not to notice the discomfort that some caracters feel when it comes to read and book culture in general. This reading will seek to establish a link between this attitude peculiar characters of Echenoz to books and libraries and the discourse on the state of contemporary society. The problem of postmodernism has been also stressed in this article. |
