Description Professional influences may also be the cause of arthrosis. For the purpouse of acknouwledgment of an occupational disease, X ray signs of a degenerative affection of joints have to reach a certain stage according to the Kellgren and Lawrence classification, the have to be accoompanied by a serious disorder of the joint function and a significant limitation of working ability. The authors present basic findings on a functional examination of joints for the purpose of outpatient practice of specialists on occupational diseases.
