| Description | The book deals with the analysis of the electoral systems in post-communist countries after the collapse of communist autocracy until the June 2007. The book is divided in three parts. The first part focuses on the development of electoral systems in post-communist countries. Based on this part, the concrete electoral reforms and their trends are evaluated. In the second part, the analysis is carried out for particular countries. Based on this part, general conclusions about the influence of the electoral systems in post-communist countries are formulated. The electoral system often explained concrete specifics in distinct countries. Comparing higher number of countries, numerous differences in the influence of similar electoral systems have been observed. |
