| Description | Project Implementation and Validation of Robust Knowledge Analytical System UIRON for the oncology domain (UIRON) was solved as a project of Czech Academy of Science (nb. 1ET208120511, program Information Society) In years 2005 and 2006, Institute of Computer Science of Masaryk University and Institute of Biostatistics and Analysis in Brno. The aim of UIRON was to prove a possibility of usage of a new type of software tools from the group Knowledge and Information Robots in the medicine. In case of success, system such as UIRON might be useful in any other domain. Output was an software application of UIR (Universal Information Robot) as a kind of knowledge and information robot in the oncology domain in clinical application and research. The UIRON system can be seen as an doctor's assistant or R&D employee who is responsible for delivering desired (contextually relevant) data. |
