Description Genomic DNA were isolated from crude cell lysates of Lactobacillus paracasei subsp. paracasei CCDM 211/06 cells with help of reversible imobilisation on hard carriers. Magnetic nonporous micropheres poly(2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate-co-glycidyl methacrylate) - P(HEMA-co-GMA)covered by carboxyl groups were used for DNA isolation. DNA adsorption on carriers occured in the presence of high NaCl and PEG 6000 concentrations. Quality and amount of isolated DNA were estimated using agarose gel electrophoresis, spectrophotometry and amplification in PCR.
