| Description | The article deals with the alternative sanctions in the Czech and Slovak republic. At the beginning of the article is mentioned the concept of restorative justice. Then there are compared for alternative sanctions. It is the community service, the financial punishment, the home arrest and the suspended sentence. The conclusion summarizes the most important perceptions, suggestions and thoughts about alternative sanction in both republic. |
