Description Ganglioglioma is an uncommon primary lesion of the central nervous system The favorable prognosis associated with ganglioglioma makes early recognition important for early diagnosis and treatment. Gross total resection as it was performed in our patient appears to be curative.Subtotal resection or biopsy carries the risk for recurrence. Radiation therapy is regarded as not indicated after gross total resection and should be restricted to only high-grade cases or special indications, such as when resection is impossible
