Description Videomediastinoscopy is constantly useful, safe and profitable minimal invasive surgical examination. There are used for the diagnosis of the mediastinal disease. N - stagign of the NSCLC is the overrinding indication of this. Mediastinal lymphatic node inflamatory or malignant etiology, mediastinal tumours are diagnosed also. Intraoperative ultrasound examination can decrease the risk of iatrogenic mediastinal injury. This examination can be used for the localisation of the correct place for biopsy too.
