| Description | The aim of this publication is to outline the legal regulation in the field of old environmental contamination at the national, european and international level. The American regulation was chosen because the effective program is in place for many years there and it is considered to be the most advanced legal system in this field. Neither European law or the international law does provide a complex regulation of old environmental contamination, however the interest to solve this problem is considerable. The analytical part of the work is concerned with the description and analysis of the legal regulation at all three levels of legal systems. Based on the analysis the comparison is made according to critera set in advance. The results are used to formulate the recommendations. |
