| Description | Results of research in the field of synthesis of substituted derivatives of bicyclo[1.1.1]pentane (BCP) and their oligomers [n]staffanes, which which aim at their application in molecular devices (switches). Appropriate substituents in positions 1, 3 of BCP cage enable its anchoring at surface of gold electrodes or possible incorporation into more complex molecular structures. |
