Description Two generations of interspecific hybrids of Trifolium pratense x Trifolium medium were evaluated for resistance to Bean yellow mosaic virus (BYMV) under greenhouse conditions. The infection by this virus was very low in both generations, it ranged from 0 to 10 percent (average 2.2 percent) in the first and from 0 to 13.3 percent (average 3.2 percent) in the second. These results confirmed the high level of resistance of these hybrids. They can be use in the breeding as source of resistance to BYMV.
