| Description | In her article the author deals with both the history of Customs Union and actual trends in the field of customs law. One of the objectives of the Community was to create a common market and economic and monetary union. The beginning of development in this area can be seen already in the GATT 1947. The Customs Union itself was established in 1968. However, the contribution focuses primarily on the importance of the customs union and on the major changes in the field of customs regulation. Those changes have been adopted in the year when the Customs Union celebrates its 40th anniversary. |
