| Description | Stephen Schiffer's paradox of meaning shows that each Fregeanism and Russellianism explains the presence of individuals in thoughts-propositions in a questionable way. I evoke Pavel Tichý's semantical system which, as I argue in details, gives us a viable middle way between the extremes of Fregeanism and Russellianism (thus it also solves Schiffer's paradox). |
