Description The aim of that preliminary study were considerations of the mine warm water effect on phytobenthos, from the cyanobacterial and algal site and their species richness. Water quality of Nedvědička river depends on public waste water disposal, but the river has good self-purification capacity. Inflow of water works has no effect on species richness. Inflow of mine thermal water increased the species richness of the river by the salt-marsh species which faded away the river by pollution increasing.
