| Description | Close common web and desktop paradigms connection was tested under the project proving significant system control simplification and steeper learning curve for users. Results of our research show a way of improving usage by implementing desktop technologies in the web environment. jQuery framework was fully integrated into Albireo system and Mashups were integrated under the project for easy YouTube videos and Google Maps insertion. RSS channels creation were automatized and optimized in Albireo. User can use his OpenID account, connect it with Albireo and use it to sign on. Albireo used Google Gears technology primarily to support multiple files upload throught data stream, by which we examined the advantages of this unusual solution. |
