Description Vladimir Solovyev, a great Russian thinker, journalist, and poet, belongs to the Russian literary tradition of the last third of the 19-th century. Even during his lifetime his radiant personality affected not only his contemporaries but also the young literary newcomers. Vladimir Solovyev s life was firmly grounded in his faith in God, striving for men s returns to the divine essence of being. This transposition of deep philosophical believes into poetic forms made a unigue message of a writer, not yet fully understood. Semantic fields that represent particular manifestations of God in Solovyev s poetry are realised with various lexical symbols. Those symbols produce specific semantic markings and stratification of Solovyev s poetry.
