Description Thesis presents one possible approach to the development of expert teachers, through biographical and narrative approach of his/her career. The main research question, reformulated in the research was: How is developed the identity of expert teachers from the view of biographical reconstruction of his/her career and life path? The central part of the work is an empirical qualitative research of expert teachers first and second grade elementary school. The aim of the research using a qualitative approach, biographical and narrative design and other specific methods, such as living history, was to examine the inductive process of evolution and development of teachers. The key process, which is explained by the development of an expert, is teacher’s work on his/her professional identity. Professional identity of teachers is the creation of conscious action and the result of conscious self-reflection more than a set of features or congenital.
