| Description | This reports a survey of current knowledge concerning one of the ralatively frequent and severe complications of liver cirrhosis and associated ascites-spontaneous bacterial peritonitis. Epidemioly, aetiology, pathogenesis, clinical manifestation, diagnosis and present possibilites of treatment are discussed. |
