| Description | The main aim of this contribution is to describe the activity of the public prosecutor s office as a very important authority that helps to protect the public interest. The history showed us that the public prosecutor s offices in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland were recognized as the institutes that helped to protect socialist law and order. We can see that the role of the public prosecutor s office has been changed. It is also typical for the traditional democratic countries. However, it is very difficult to define the aims of its activity as well as its procedural role. |
