| Description | In this paper is discussed the domiciliary service providing as the possible instrument of the elderly peoples’ social inclusion in the context of demographical changes in ČR, social services development priorities for 2009-20012 and the National Programme of Preparation for Ageing for 2008-2012. Domiciliary care is defined with using four basic characteristics: providing practical activities, providing activities related to body care and like this, monitoring of the seniors life situation and supervision them, care management. These characteristics are discussed with using the preliminary results of case study realized on domiciliary care in ČR and with a view of these results is discussed the potential of domiciliary care to support the elderly people in their native environment, i.e. to be a equivalent to the residential care. |
