Description The first record ever in the Czech Republic of the Siberian species Hordeum brevisubulatum is reported. It was collected in summer 1974 in a textile factory in Humpolec in southern Bohemia. The specimen, deposited in herbarium BRNU, was originally identified as Setaria sp. and therefore remained unrecognized untill recently. It was probebly introduced with woll from the former Soviet Union.
