Description Christian pilgrimage payed an important role in the work of the convent orders taking part in a process of a catholic renewal after the Trident Council. The influence of the Minims on the recatholization in Bohemia after the Battle of WhiteMountain is closely connected with a pilgrimage tradition. Most of the attention and attendance of the pilgrims happened during the great anniversaries (such as 500th anniversary of the beginning of the pilgrimage tradition in Vranov at Brno taht was celebrated in 1740).
