Description Stratigraphical sequence was partly duplicated and cut off by strike or transversal faults. Documented stratigraphical repetition could be interpreted as a result of tectonic movements along possible eastern prolongation of two branches of the Očkov fault. The lower fault branch, recognized in the lower part of the tunnel tube, is typical bedding-parallel thrust fault. The upper one was modified by younger transversal fault striking in N - S direction such that the Silurian beds were dragged along and form a narrow tectonic slice. Third significant fault was steep, nearly strike normal fault cutting of a lower part of the Silurian rocks near Lochkov village.
