Description Learning text is appropriate especially for students of geography at faculties of education. It introduces one of the modern methods of spatial-located data collecting – The Remote Sensing – for the future teachers. There are presented some technologies and processes that are necessary for processing of Remote Sensing photographs and methods suitable for interpretation of image data. Learning text is focused on processes of analogue interpretation of satellite images and aerial photographs. In that case, the text can be very useful for primary and secondary teachers who will find there many instructions how to introduce methods of Remote Sensing in geography lesson. Presented processes do not require expensive and demanding computer equipment, they only require available image data. In the end of each chapter, we can find the list of basic terms and some questions. The text is supplemented by charts, schemas and examples of aerial photographs. Geographical description of photographs characterizes different types of landscapes in Czech Republic and in the whole world. It enables readers to cope with the orientation in photographs and assess the degree of people influence on natural elements. Readers have the possibility to imagine the using of image data.
