| Description | The article presents the results of an analysis of the notions of ideal city in urban planning of Brno in the past 60 years. It compares the ideas about a positive future urban development in Brno with the cases of other postsocialist cities. Also, the continuities and changes in the planning ideas after the 1989 are pointed out. |
