| Description | This chapter focuses on the specific question of reflexivity in the assessment. Primarily I see reflexivity as a useful way of checking the conditions and circumstances with which social workers operate in their work with clients. It is a useful way of feedback that the social workers can use to enhance the quality of their work with clients. Reflection and reflective practice is also better for the social work profession and its management than proceduralization. Its a way of reducing bureaucracy. |
