Description Nowadays, questions of coexistence of nations, ethnic groups and various groups of inhabitants are arousing, especially in connection with increasing migration and globalization of the society. Signs of prejudice and xenophobia of the majority society towards certain groups of inhabitants are not yet in the past - today, individuals and various groups openly demonstrate racism, nationalism, fundamentalism etc. The research conducted since 2009 to 2010 at the Department of Social Pedagogy at PdF MU shows opinions of Czech students and of members of various minorities on coexistence of minorities and the majority society in the Czech Republic. Specialists in the field of education warn about signs of extremism in schools and therefore initiate the introduction of ethic education into schools. Results of the research show the significance of these efforts and reasons why it is important to entertain these topics again and again
