Description This report deals with relationships of research results between individual indicators of health related fitness. The research base was 590 children between the age of 6 an 12. The study was based on Fitnessgram (physical fitness assessment test), body mass index (BMI) and a method identifying the body posture. The results were processed using correlative data analysis. We can see from the results that only in three cases, there are positive relationships between monitored indicators of health related fitness: between spine posture and strength and move ability of body extensors, between body structure and aerobic efficiency, and between body structure and strength and fitness of abdominal muscles. Therefore, we recommend extending the traditional methods of health related fitness testing by method of body posture evaluation.
