Description In terms of the dynamical changes in the settlement system of the Czech Republic recently, there can be identified distinct spatial dynamics of transport flows. This dynamics of transport flows is a result of above mentioned changes in the settlement system configuration (e.g.: the process of suburbanization or metropolisation), but at the same time a result of growing spatial mobility of people. An increased level of mobility, which is mostly connected with the growing share of individual car transport in the Czech Republic since 1990s has a lot of geographical/spatial impacts (see discussion in Nuhn, Hesse 2006). The transport system of Czechia is thus changing in its organisation and spatial structure. The main aim of this article is the discussion of possibilities of transport concentration areas delimitation, which are mainly inspired by the areas with maximum population density (Korčák 1966) and integrated system of centres (e.g. Hampl 2005). There is below discussed also the availability of these areas to study of the spatial dynamics of transport relation in the settlement system of the Czech Republic.
