Description | The study introduces a high-quality collection of mediaeval and early modern-age militaria from the collections of the Municipal Museum, Moravský Krumlov. In total, the study presents 37 objects including two long swords, hunting knives, daggers, rapiers, maces, axes, spear tips, a pike and a halberd. Thanks to the efforts of J. Kaufman, a former director of the museum and a major Czech scholar, approximate locations for the majority of the objects are known; the largest proportion of the artefacts come from Templštejn Castle. |
