Description Environmental Economics, as seen by a team of authors, seeking economic optimum quality of the environment and deals with the issue of cost-effective environmental protection, and generally in different areas of environmental protection. Since its inception, the economy was environmental rather conceived as economics of environmental pollution, because it was in fact the economic context of solving only one of several features of the environment (assimilation functions). From this perspective, it would be more apt to talk more about the economics of pollution (and the economy assimilation function of nature) about the economy than the environment. Monograph summarizes the findings of relatively young discipline of environmental economics. Environmental economics deals with questions of economic aspects of human interactions with the environment. The text book is devoted to analyzing the basic economical issues of environmental protection.
